Church Pulpits

The pulpit is center of attention in the church. The pulpit represents a symbol of authority, not of the speaker, but from a higher power than the speaker. At the same time it must be a functional piece of church furniture. A church pulpit is a lectern for public speaking with a place for the speaker's notes, Bible and sometimes, electronics. Even though the function of pulpits hasn't changed over the centuries, their functionality certainly has, and evolving technology is now used with this traditional symbol of preaching and teaching.

More speakers are using slide presentations, laptop computers and other electronic devices. When ordering a custom pulpit, a church needs to take these devices into consideration. We sell pulpits individually or in furniture sets.  These handcrafted pulpits can be ordered in a number of finishes to match your other chancel furniture perfectly and will add to the beauty of any church.  Mixing the traditional pulpit with modern worship seating is becoming popular. A very nice traditional pulpit goes very well with today’s movable seating, bringing more reverence to conventional building structures used by expanding or startup churches.
